I've got 11 (eleven) WUs noted as "validation pending". Never had so many...
Especially CMD2 WUs, which are the shorter and .. stay the longer as "validation pending" Anyone has an explanation ? Come on to work, everybody ! ![]() |

HCMD 2 workunits are very short. I returned 116 of these yesterday and 178 of them today. Numbers are still climbing. I have several days awaiting in my queue, which might introduce some delay.
----------------------------------------How many do *I* have waiting validation? 48 Just keep crunching.

Well Legrandpiou, considering that yesterday (16/5/09), the results show that there were 366,987 results returned, producing a combined run time of well over 2 1/2 years, someone, somewhere is crunching
----------------------------------------![]() Methinks, that a little bit of patience is required, and that your badges (as I'm presuming that's what you're after), will come eventually ![]() Yesterday: Total Run Time (y:d:h:m:s) 246:286:18:06:50 Points Generated 194,389,154 Results Returned 366,987 ![]() |

Just keep crunching. Don't worry, I'll keep crunching... I have three old and/or slow computers on the grid and I hoped the other crunchers to be faster than me... I'll be patient ... and send back other WUs... |

The most I have had is 43 PAGES of Pending. Now I am down to 26 Pages You probably have a monster computer compared to my Model T machines... Never mind, I'll go my way walking through the grid, and looking at your formula 1 passing on the road... The force of the WCG and other nets of this kind, is that everyone does what he can do, and so are we, and happy to do it. Cheers to all crunchers ! |

Come on to work, everybody ! ![]() There are quite a few explanations: 1) Some crunching machines are only crunching 8 hours a day or possibly less so it takes a few days for those machine to return results. 2) Some machine are reliable, but was taken offline briefly - possibly thinkpads as they travel from one location to the next. And back. 3) Some systems are crunching 24/7, but offline waiting to get back online to upload results, and download new tasks 4) Some system are online 24/7 collects up to 10 days worth of work in advance by badge hunters even though there is no need to do such. 5) Some systems got the work unit, but won't complete it in time meaning you have to wait for the no reply condition and then someone else will do the emergency job. 6) Who cares... just be patient. |
