But what if the WCG server aborts a wu before you even have a chance to crunch it is this still considered an error against your quota? I think that it should not affect your quota but, honestly, I don't know. Anyway it does not happen very often, and since your machine is still returning valid results in that case, your daily quota should quickly be back to normal. Cheers. Jean. |

But what if the WCG server aborts a wu before you even have a chance to crunch it is this still considered an error against your quota? 'Error' and 'Aborted by Server' are 2 very different statuses. The 'Results Status' page treated them the same at first, which has caused some confusion. An Abort does not affect your daily quota. An Error does reduce your daily quota. Lawrence |

An Error does reduce your daily quota. Well, seeing that WCG doesn't display the quota-info it's hard to tell, but going by other projects it doesn't matter who aborted a task, you or the project-server, both is counted as an error as far as quota goes. But, appart for short beta-wu's, any server-abortions in WCG is few and far between, so it doesn't really matter if you'll get the ocassional abort. ![]() "I make so many mistakes. Well, think knreed posted that the server side aborts [don't] count for the quota! Additional status identifiers and rechristenings are under development.
