Can you reproduce the problem with BOINC 6.2?

Does your computer have the file in your projects/www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ folder?
Also, do you have any messages in your log that show the file may have been downloaded improperly? Because it should be an issue for everyone as all the work units were generated at the same time. -Uplinger |

Is the BOINC start up message log in BOINC manager not printing that? Found somewhere that the default is /Library/Application Support/BOINC Data

Is the BOINC start up message log in BOINC manager not printing that? Found somewhere that the default is /Library/Application Support/BOINC Data yes, BOINC manager says "Thu 14 May 01:22:29 2009 Data directory: /Library/Application Support/BOINC Data" but there is no BOINC Data folder in /Library/Application Support/ - really computername:Application Support user$ ls EDIT: anyway i already crunched several HCMD2 wus on this macbook and they all were ok. Could be just rare download or boinc manager communication problem. ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by rilian at May 14, 2009 10:02:08 PM] |

Hi rilian,
I do not know about Mac OS X, but BOINC Data is a hidden directory in Windows. Lawrence |

Hi rilian,
If you can crunch a BOINC project, then you have a BOINC Data directory where BOINC says it is. Lawrence |

but there is no BOINC Data folder in /Library/Application Support/ You may try a "locate BOINC\ Data" in your terminal if you want to find the folder (don't forget the backslash, also beware it's a case sensitive searching). |
