cpu time exceded
how can that be... need a faster pc than any thing made?
phenom2 x4 940 ,4 gig ram, 150raptor,1terabyte maxtor..
about 15 wus errored for this reason...
any explanations would be nice...

You don't give much information to go on v.v. the jobs themselves. One possibility is that the HCC jobs somehow got stuck in a loop and kept eating CPU time until it reached that factor 10 the techs allow most projects to run beyond the original flop estimate each job is assigned.

So, please post one of the result logs. It might tell us something more.

Any recent booting/upgrades done on this machine?

new pc less than 2 months...
nothing changed from first build...
have had other errors but theese were my fault ,borked up mem settings in bios...
the box has been doing fine up until today...
the message in first post came from the website...
result log is HUGE will not fit here...
i did not see any thing in it out of the ordinary....
let me see what i can do to get it posted...

That looks as though your BOINC XML files that keep track of your computer time, etc, were trashed.

soooooo does anything need to be done?
i have already rebooted..
also i am new to the new gen cpus, bios settings so on and so forth...
im more or less learning day by day...
the latest i have other than that is an x2 4400 which has ran oced since day 1 and never (knock on wood) had any probs with it...
theese 2 pcs were built by myself from hand picked pieces.
more or less top of the line when built...
the phenom is my version of the extreemly more expensive i7...
it has not been oced as of yet for lack of knowledge, and a few odds and ends per se water cooling kit....
as the pc sits now it will do orthos and also prime error free for as long as you care to let them run ran 7days each...

Yes, that's some major breakage.

You can fix the immediate problem by stopping BOINC, deleting client_state.xml and client_state_prev.xml, then restarting BOINC.

However, I think you should also run some disk and memory diagnostics. It takes quite a major fault to get this corrupted.

my bad not all 15 were just that error
bout 1/2 are this..
btw the x4 940 is on xp pro 32bit w/ 4gig ram....well almost 4 gig ya know bill said no to more without spending some more$$$
