Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm curious about the validation process. The following WU is "Pending Validation" even if it reached the minimum quorum and replication (2). I guess it's a matter of waiting a couple of hours, but it seemed odd to me.

The validators are stopped from time to time. It's not usually something to worry about.

Thanks for your answer Didactylos.
As I suspected, after some time (1~2 hours) that WU is now validated. I believe that on the other projects, as soon as the minimum quorum is reached and there's a match in the results, the WU is immediately validated. I guess there's some extra work to do in CEP or what you say about validators being stopped from time to time. |

Hello,
I also got a question about validation process. In my case, three replications of a work unit have been sent out. Two of them have been declared as valid, the third one as invalid. It seems,however, strange to me, that the two work units declared as valid seem to have been processed with some kind of error. The error of the valid work unit is identical in both cases and looks like that: work unit number 1 (valid) Result Log <core_client_version>5.10.45</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <stderr_txt> Calling gridPlatform.init() Calling initGraphics() INFO: No state to restore. Start from the beginning. Calling gridPlatform.init() Calling initGraphics() [ERROR] Failed to open either source or destination files while copying wcgrestart.rst to ../../projects/www.worldcommunitygrid.org/E000644_330A_005w6g010_1_3.
