biggrin It's a flat world
I've just viewed the video about this project, which I found most interesting. I was perplexed however at the assertion that the world is now "flatter". Is the world bulging more at the equator ? I think we should be told !

More had noticed that... metaphorically, though for many it will have gone lost in translation.

(The secret is, the equator is the rim of our plate, and it's about 7 to 9 km thick).
