Bonic and AMD Athlon Install Issues

I cannot get the boinc cleint to install on my AMD athlon PC running windows vista. I keep getting errors It keeps defaulting to having me look for the msi file?

Anyone got a fix for this?

Probably you will want to do a clean up or rerun the old version installer you had before trying the new one.

Could you tell us just what is going on?

Which BOINC package are you installing - - is it the one on the WCG website?

Does the computer that you are installing onto already have a copy of BOINC installed?

Have you looked at Start Here ( http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=21501 ), in particular at Installing on Vista at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=12856 ?
