Base Priority of processes running on my Laptop

My processes always run at low base priority. At the end of a day I might still have idle time.
Sometime I raise the base priority of my GRID processes from Low to Above Normal or even High. Then I have less Idle time.

Is this a good or bad practice to get more work done? thinking

Re: Base Priority of processes running on my Laptop

Not bad: pointless.

Exactly how many minutes does the System Idle process accumulate?

Make sure you have set your device profile to "Maximum Output".
