Have faith, Oh wondrous One some people have single track minds and will (due to lack of tact or thoughtlessness take your pick) be unintentionally (or not) rude. My take is not to worry about A person who thinks that they (collective) Are the only ones that count (I.E. we are #1 in all wcg) they are really not worth your time or worry. ![]() As a side note: they are ranked #4 not #1 (impressive but not to the point tackles behavior) again don't worry over others perceived slights. ![]() [Edit 2 times, last edit by sujo1 at Sep 9, 2011 3:05:30 PM] |

3,000 miles with 3 arguing teen agers (it was a long trip) 2 perpetually talking female adults and 1 lone driver. (me)
---------------------------------------- the trip was a smashing success. To start the looooong arduous journey. We stayed at cousins house for the first leg of the trip. After a heart felt talk to the teens about burlap sacks and the Mississippi river, Things went pretty smoothly. The sights were fairly obscure due to all the trees lining the Highways. It was nice to see my mother and sister. The run to ST. Augustine was smooth and (thanks to the very oh so smooth talk about sacks and rivers (veiled threats do work wonders)) We visited daughter and grand kids. Oh yes forgot the wedding. It was a nice event outside. Only complaint would have been the 98% humidity and 95 degree temps. And that is the trip in a nut shell. ![]() ![]() |

If you ever run short of sacks, I can recommend feeding time at the Alligator Farm. <snicker>
