After almost 13 hours of computing this granted credit result seems a bit unfair:
workunitid=58748859 faah5463_ ZINC00522063_ xmdEq_ 1MEU_ 00_ 0-- [[...]] Valid 3/16/09 14:58:56 3/22/09 11:09:22 12.71 282.8 / 3.6 [[!!]] The result log appears quite normal. |

Hi ramostol. A few of these WUs with low credits were reported in early Feb 09, in thread Strange WU's with only one repication and very low granted credits
----------------------------------------Nothing seems to have been done to fix the problem, but the WCG techs have been very overworked lately, and the problem is occurring so infrequently that it will have very little effect on our long-term points averages, so it's not a priority. I've had 2 WUs in the last few days that got only about 50% of normal credit, so I reported them in that thread. I put a link to your post in my post there. [Edit]: I just noticed that your claimed credit for the WU was 282.8. This is very high for a faah WU, so there may be something wrong with it. My credit claims are always high for some reason, so I am accustomed to receiving less than claimed without getting worried. I have even had a couple of WUs granted less than 50 % without reacting too much. But in extreme cases like this one you start worrying about the computing quality itself. So therefore... |

Please post the Result log. The link is in the status column.
----------------------------------------thanks PS a device claiming 22.25 credit is likely a 64 bit client. Much has been said about all WCG sciences being 32 bit and the 64 bit integer benchmark part causing the claim likely inflation. See other threads for that. The only project benefiting from 64 bit is HCC. It has a high integer content.

Please post the Result log. The link is in the status column. My results do not stay too long, and this one is already vanished. Sorry. PS a device claiming 22.25 credit is likely a 64 bit client. Quite correct. |

Credits for FAAH seem to be a function of RND(0). I always get less than claimed, sometimes its ridiculous. To bad the admins don't care about the problem, because it will turn people of FAAH.
I will continue to accept FAAH WUs, but I like the undercrediting not one bit. |

I have one AMD machine which always overclaims. I do not know why, but I think it is roughly 25%, sometimes less. Not a big deal because they are almost always valid with an inconclusive rarely, which normally turns valid. Was there a wingman on your unit or was it only your own ? Your credit is definitely out of whack. How often has it happened to you ?

HFCC does in my experiance generate more credit compared to the other projects on 64 bit machines as I have a i7 and a dual E5440 that are both 64 bit and generating high credit rates
