Hello everyone,
----------------------------------------I`m kind of new at the WCG projects,and I have an important question about the boinc-client settings- I managed to do some researches about the CPU operation,and I saw clearly that when all the CPU cores are working at one task,the results are better then 2 cores working each on one task. My question is-Can I change the settings to that way? I have 2 cores CPU,and it`s working on 2 processes at time,I want it to work in 100% (with both of the cores) at one process. BOINC doesn't support that, so neither does World Community Grid.
The results, however, would not be better. There are advantages, but it's not as simple as "better". |
