Any octo mac crunchers seeing problems in boinc stating "waiting for shared memory" instead of "ready to start"? If so, check the posts I stated in the new project about this. Seems the fix is to increase the shared memory but not sure I want to tinker with this unless some one else has done this without problems. Please let me know.

Hi Bearcat,
You would have better luck if you registered over at BOINC and asked for help on the relevant thread. You would have a fair chance of finding somebody who has increased the number of allowed shared memory segments on their Mac. Lawrence |
