confused Inconclusive

This morning I checked the workunits I completed since yesterday's project launch on the my results page, only to see they have all been marked as inconclusive.

Now I know this is not something to worry about. Wingman workunits have been send out to validate my results. I assume they'll confirm my results (if not there is another problem) and all will be fine. However I was surprised to see this mass inconclusiveness. (as opposed to the random ones I sometimes see)

I'll report back on the outcome once the wingman workunits are in.

Re: Inconclusive

You've been the target of a random device check. Should not last beyond 8-15 results. Had it with FAAH when off-line for a month. Each time a dubious result is returned (aborts of work in progress e.g.), the device is drafted for an in-depth physical ;>)

Re: Inconclusive

All the HFCC results returned by my two PPC/OSX machines are being marked inconclusive. Not so for my Intel/OSX machines. It's odd, because the PPC machines have not aborted any WUs. In fact, they haven't crunched any WUs in quite some time since there is no PPC app for Clean Energy.

Re: Inconclusive

That's in line with what I said above. Reliability ratings expire.

Ah. Good to know. How many good results are required to acquire a rating of "reliable"?

Re: Inconclusive

Hello zombie67,
Sekerob says: "Should not last beyond 8-15 results." This is the sort of finicky detail that knreed will cheerfully adjust without posting a notice of change. When we first started the 'reliable' list, I think that it took 15 results to get on it. I simply do not know what the current value is.

Re: Inconclusive

The first of my inconclusives had its wingman workunit come in and validated. I'm in my way back to being reliable again. biggrin

cool Re: Inconclusive

I did not have a problem with this project. Neither on my machines Windows nor Linux.
