Re: HFCC Badge: Who Will Be First in Bronze, Silver & Gold?

Thanks for the replies, guys. It sounds like people are being reasonable. I didn't think about the aspect of treating this like an 'RC1' type of app, but that makes a lot of sense. At this point I will wait patiently and see what naturally comes to my computers.

Edit: And now the first one just showed up for me. :-)

That's what I do with mine. I like all the project WCG has to offer. As soon as I hit gold(likely Friday) I plan to kick back to all. At least until HCMD comes back, then its full bore on that til project completion. That's the project I signed up at WCG to work on.

Re: HFCC Badge: Who Will Be First in Bronze, Silver & Gold?

I now achieved silver, I finally cleaned up all of my FAAH WUs so I should probably get to Gold in a copule of days. HFCC only competing with DDDT.

It would be great to add some part of statistiques telling how many members has got bronze, sylver and gold badges for each project and how many members with 13, 12, 11, 10... badges.
I don't know if it is reasonable to ask this but it could be interresting to know.

Re: HFCC Badge: Who Will Be First in Bronze, Silver & Gold?

Woohoo!
Finished the first year of crunching for HFCC!

An interesting statistic:
It took 5 days to crunch 1 CPUyear, so I can crunch 73 CPUyears in one year. There are about 8000 years to be crunched, so it would take me 109,59 years to crunch all WU's smile
As stated in the opening-post:
Your contribution is appreciated as it would take us over 100 years on the computers available to us to finish this computation.

My conclusion: The performance of my grid is almost equal to all computers that are available to the HFCC team when they wouldn't use WCG for their research... WOW! cool
I'm happily to crunch for this project, so I think that I will stay on this project for a while.
