Hi,
Not sure if this is the right place to post this. Apologies if it isn't. Does anyone know if ARM processors are supported on any of the projects? thanks |

Hi!
I don't think so. Also, another issue for WCG projects is memory, and I really doubt that we have an ARM-powered device with more than 256MB of RAM. |

I still have an working iPAQ doubling as Car & Handheld Hiking GPS and Phone and it won't, it can't, and will exhaust the battery in no time, apart from the lack of demand. Say it wont be looked at for resource allocation unless say 10,000 work units daily are returned for a unique platform. To get 10,000 work units there must be a field of potential participants of say 1 million as people volunteer off and on. Finger in the air numbers, but that's the gist.

Thanks for the responses. I thought that was the case. I was just reading about some cheap ARM based Netbooks coming out soon.
