So I've been in a community group, then moved (and was asked to leave), then I was in my companies team, and got laid off (so I distanced myself from them by leaving), so now I'm here, among those that I always feel at home with.

Hehehe, he should like this post: The best thing to do when picking a team, is look at its presentation. The first post by the captain should do the trick. If you feel hoohum about what you see, then keep going until you find one that makes you want to jump out of your chair, stand sharply at attention and salute.
