I would like to energize the team to do everything in their power to add more machines. If each team member would add just one more machine it would make a huge difference. As it stands DVADER and I collectively post 10% of the teams points per day. You don't want us to have all the fun now do you?

I just figured up my home electric cost to run WCG. It comes out at about $57 per month. That with my offsite machines is what it takes to post 13th in points for the day for all individuals on WCG  How many PC's do you have running for just WCG? I put an ammeter on my PC and was able to determine that WCG adds about 14 watts to my typical pc in idle, making a total of 120watts. 1000watts/hr costs about 8 cents, a dedicated PC to WCG running 24/7 cost's about $7 per month. If you are running WCG on PC's powered up 24/7 for other purposes anyway, then you are talking about $0.80 per month to run WCG. don't be scaring people with high electric bills, WCG costs pennies to run, unless you are running PC's just for crunching. |

I'm a road rep so I don't get near any office machines - Head office disconnected their main network from the internet LOL. |
