devilish error when the WCG BOINC screen saver is running under windows XP

When the WCG BOINC screen saver is running under windows XP:

on the lower left the "Work Unit" and "Points" information requires about 1 - 2 inches more room horizontally as the information gets truncated.

ps. with such a great idea we should have more than 1.2 million devices.

The Night Light Initiative (night light, clock and processor with network)

Whitespace Private Tunneling and dedicated DSP for distrubuted processing.

A little logo on you future fridge, printer, scanner phone, or car may play a role in your purchase decision.

Possibly an ethical mutual fund based on companies working with the WCG.

Every fast food restaurant employee, every big box store employee, every cigarette smoker, everyone who has a shared interest in the future of medical care is a target marketing candidate.

Re: error when the WCG BOINC screen saver is running under windows XP

What science is this as there are 5 active projects. Some showing the personal stat information in a scrolling banner, some in a circle. Screenshot would be ideal and to know what OS. Is it only in screensaver mode truncated or also when you manually call up the project graphics via the BOINC Tasks window? You'd have to set "run always" to test this as "screensaver / idle computing" would pause the client trying that.

Added: what screen resolution are you running e.g. 1024 * 800 ? Are display drivers up to date?
