Man Flu.....Pfffffffft!! Just a common or garden cold, ain' gonna stop me from doin' anything! biggrin

Bravo, thats the sort of spirit that kept Hitler and his mob out wink

Moaning all ..........
More seasonal out there now, a crisp cold morning with a watery sun shining down on dewy ground, and cobwebs looking like a jewelled kneckless, I breath more easy this time of year, the air slightly biting as it enters my lungs. The blackberries have all but gone, eaten I suspect with the mess on my car, by the blackbird that visits my garden each day, there are still sloe in the hedgerow but these are disappearing fast, some of which are now covered in gin in my cabinet.
Her indoors made a large pan of split pea, lentil and bacon hock soup on wednesday, this was soon devoured by the entire family having heard and converged on us.

Have a great weekend all ................ good luck rose

Old Sage wink

Poetry coming from life's Highway - beautiful, I can see it all, old sage rose

Well, I don't know whether Angela fired at the UK
- you were wise enough to keep out of the EURO phantasie as was Denmark - good luck
- but she should have fired Thick Bertha much sooner direction Hellas ...
- I wonder how long the average Jürgen und Ursula are going to take it on the chin
not talking
- and the Finns, the Dutch, and the Austrians
not talking
- and I suppose that's about it ....
sad

Re: .

Evening all

Once again my walk to Sainsbury's was like a summer day and I did stock up with couple of half price bottles of champagne to settle the requirement of Christmas morning.

The comment about Chelsea was because one of the possibilities of the West London space being given up by the BBC was that it would give Chelsea the chance to build a new, much larger stadium. When I lived in Windsor and supported them with my mates, we stood on the concrete opposite the Stands with a flask of scotch to keep us warm. It seemed to be much closer to the action somehow.

How are you today, Scribe? Heavy head? Stuffy nose?

Good Morning!
Recycle yesterdays' weather report, please, minus the drizzle plus a trace of haze ...
Light a candle time ...

Lucy Locket lost her pocket,
Kitty Fisher found it;
Not a penny was there in it,
Only ribbon round it.

Im loooooking and thinking its to do with Lucy ?
I know you set us cunning quandaries LM
the only Lucy we know of in Albion is this poor lass who was careless with her purse

Yes, the mermaid never runs
edited for proper singularum third person rolling eyes
out of questions
- especially not if she ventures into an Edwardian parlour,
so tell, tell, don den, please, a curious mind wants to know smile

- lovely pictures, by the way.
Yes, we Vikings have implemented windpower from windmollen,
but
1. We don't have a lot of wind these days - boring weather, boring, boring ...
2. Candles have to do with the Danish peculiarity called "Hygge"
Walk Right In
shame on you NO, GM, no, no, don't, no, don't ... I know you know, but don't, please ...
- let don den find out what the thing called "Hygge" is for himself
devilish
