 Good morning all......Back from visiting some Greek holiday friends , they own a lovely little cottage in 'Little Beckford' a few miles from 'Evesham', the weather was brilliant and the scenery around that part of the world awesome, we met all the family and were made to feel so welcome we felt we had known them for years! we have now been invited to spend time in Cyprus as guests at there village home, having spent my Army years there, this was an offer we couldn't refuse!, so this July we are off to spend two weeks with them. Evening all
The forecast of heavy showers turned out to be a tad pessimistic as we had one 5 minute burst this morning and that was it for the day. Not much sign of sun however. Yes Den, camping with the ex army bell tent takes me back as well. In the early days we went from Three Bridges to Balcombe on foot with the trek cart. Only last year I was on the train over that stretch and found it hard to believe. Still the memories are all positive ones and my particular requirement was to bring my Gran's bread pudding to hand round on the first evening. |

Very damp out there! Every day something conspires to prevent/make difficult my new resolution of a walk every morning before I do anything else!

I'm off to B&Q, I'm going to get one of those things to spray wood preserver onto the fence and shed. Just hope it will be dry enough to use it some time this week. The shed has seen better days, but hopefully I can prolong it's life a bit. I suspect you aren't supposed to spray over lichen/algae though!  |

Every bloke should have a shed It shows true love if you are gonna treat yours to a refreshing spray The lichen and other bits and bobs that are are the cement of your shed might be invigorated by a spray I got one of those last year they are great beat the paint brush every time..... they can also do a great fake tan..... ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by densnaps at May 26, 2009 7:40:41 PM] |
