Warm, cloudy, calm - thunder and heavy downpour in the forecast for this afternoon when going to the North Sea coast (and perhaps swimming - never did that before in that sea) ..... |

Good Morning! Warm, cloudy, calm - thunder and heavy downpour in the forecast for this afternoon when going to the North Sea coast (and perhaps swimming - never did that before in that sea) ..... Better take a wet suit then. It's ruddy cold in the North Sea!.  Good moaning all....... Better take a wet suit then. It's ruddy cold in the North Sea!. To be or not to be Old Sage- in this connection a Viking descendant  .... no wetsuit just ordinary swimsuit - but pretty cold it was; my guess 15 C. |

Evening all
Sunshine now but the wet stuff came down for all of the morning which meant a cab to get to the supermarket. A day earlier than usual was probably the reason but I'm off to Crawley tomorrow where my sister has decided to get married again. |

It is, Old Sage. Otherwise we couldn't have reached your shores in our open boats for after some initial skirmishes to settle down combing our hair with the combs found in York and be peacefully assimilated into your society.
