Good morning everyone.
----------------------------------------Bournmouth Merle was 2004! That was when Evy and H came from the depths of Belgium When Sigal came from Israel, and they even came from the USA. Remember Corfe Castle and the cream teas? Stonehenge? Car parks galore. Four Monk Bears in total. Yours , Sigals, (She still has it) Evy's and Shiboen's. Our American pal John wanted to buy everyone one, but we said no, just for the girls! They were bought at some monestry, do you remember? Scribbles will remember where I bet, or Peter! Heady days. Mine still sits on the shelf above my computer, keeping an eye on me every day!! I have been trying to remember how old he is, but I haven't got a clue! yep!! on a shelf, next to a monchichi monkey because people call me that when my hair is short fne anyway he's 5 years old those pictures made it into our photo-albums (thinking maternity leave was a piece of cake I planned to make photo albums for every year...h made 2009 and 2008, I was responsible for the other years...2006 is nearly finished and 2005 and 2004 not even halfway there...fne) oh noooooooooooooo missed the great leaders birthday! gelukkige verjaardag! the weather was really sad over here the last few days but will start to improve (when I have to go back to work of course fne) |

Evening all
Twas like summer today and I think I might have got some tan on my walk to the supermarket. There's a good forecast for the weekend as well. Boss lady and her No 2 goes to the RHS annual bash this evening when the awards for this year will be announced. I've come to the conclusion that I don't really like competitive arrangements. We should concentrate on just making the place look good and not be concerned with what expert judges make of it. If you do well, there's bound to be disappointment sometime in the future, and then what? Still, I enjoy the community spirit so I'll be at the Village garden tomorrow morning to meet the group and see how we got on. I had an email saying that a RHS photographer will be there but hopefully I can dodge that. Does anyone actually admire their own photo? |
