Re: THE EDWARDIANS Chatter

Evening all

Warm here too, cloudy in the morning and then bright sunshine this afternoon.

Bought a few more plants and did another window box and then potted on all the fuchsias. I still have quite a few hanging baskets to sort out. In recent years quite a few things followed on but this time virtually everything has to be done again.

Still, the supermarket tomorrow so I may be able to get a few more things there with the cab return it's no problem to have a little extra in the shopping.

Re: THE EDWARDIANS Chatter

bright and sunny here too, definitely looks like we'll be able to eat outside on our own terrace this evening
(better go foodmerling first then, with a long weekend coming up cookie-and crispsupplies are looking alarmingly depleted :ninja:)

then i can start oiling the first part of the new staircase, it's going to be even prettier cool (and then i don't have to clean my footprints off of it ever time I use it!)

Re: THE EDWARDIANS Chatter

Evening all

Like summer, which has me worried because this time next week is the Test at Lord's and it seems impossible to believe that we can have two continuous weeks like this.

Got a few more bedding plants on the supermarket trip which shot the weekly bill up more than a bit. Cab driver on the return tells of a friend who has a nursery who's never had it so good. He's actually delighted that, just like mine, the frost killed off many plants that normally filled the garden but, this year are dead and need to be planted from new. So, at least one guy is happy.
