Good morning all.................A very pleasant evening yesterday, toasted the Queen with a glass (actually three) of ' Regiment Port ' a wonderfully smooth, slightly sweet, plummy flavoured rich ruby coloured Port, our host for the evening wouldn't tell from whence he obtained it but a certain officers mess in Malta might shed some light on it's source Big toe suffering this AM however, yes you guessed it GOUT Have a great weekend whatever you are doing .... Good morning everyone. Plety of moisture in the air this morning, so much in fact we (Dog and I) will await later developments before deciding on our daily walk. Is this a democratic decision If so I think Chips might have already have voted with four feet but has been over ruled ????![]() |

Good morning everyone. Well it's race weekend here in Martinsville so naturally it's raining. The race used to be the end of April but dumba-- NASCAR moved it back a month (like the weather at the end of March is more suitable...idiots) Doesn't really matter to me but my son always attends. NASCAR is too rigged for me, i like watching real racing, F1, GTCC that sort of thing where there is still some competition left. In NASCAR if someone starts doing better than everyone else they just throw on a restrictor plate or find something about the car so they can slow him down. It's been nothing but bribes and payoffs since 1988 when they let GM field a fwd car converted to rwd therefore making it a ficticous car. Ford on the otherhand continued till 1995 to use a car that anyone could go down to the dealer and buy. Dodge wasn't even allowed to enter a car until the late '90's. Give me back the '60's & '70's when they had to feild whatever they could get thier hands on and everyone used big blocks and there were no speed limits (can you believe it, speed limits...in racing
---------------------------------------- ..only in America) Don't believe me my son went to a race here a few years ago and happened to see the trophy, it had the winners name already engaved on it...BEFORE the race even started. Anyway, y'all have a wonderful weekend and be safe at whatever you do ![]()
