Merle what Windows version are you? Sorry to take this long to get back to you Scribe - just got in, been out most of the morning. I have Windows XP - does that answer the question, or does the Email have it's "own" name if you get my drift!   Typical female me - can work it all when it works, but don't have a clue what goes on behind the screen, so to speak!   |

I have not got XP anymore but somewhere in control panel there is either/both Add/Remove programs an/or remove/add windows items.....look for something like that. BUT DO NOT USE ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS on Outlook unless there is a repair facility. Look for a repair windows or add remove features at the SIDE of the control panel display.....

Thanks Scribe. At the moment I can't even get into 'Outlook' at all, but I will keep on trying to see if I can do anything! I have obviously done something really, really stupid. I asked a friend to send me an email this morning to see if I could work backwards from there, but can't even get into anything to see her email!

Well, after an hour of trying (very trying it was too!) I have at long last managed to get into Outlook - both incoming and outgoing - but it doesn't look anything like it usually looks. I received your email Den - thanks a lot. I am now going to go and get something to eat and have a rest from it!!
I will tidy it up (I hope!!) when I am less stressed  |
