Re: .

Still, after such a winter which has been twice as long as usual, over twice as cold with temperatures down to -30 degrees C, and about 10 times the amount of snow that we usually have here, I say: Global warming is a myth!

still, the canadian winter (never a pushover)was 4 whole °C warmer than usual

nice and balmy here too
completely overcast buttt in belgium you can't win 'em all :)
hope it rains in italy tomorrow
then a belgian cyclist will surely win milaan san remo
woohoo devilish

Re: .

Evening all

Mild here with a lovely morning but which disintegrated into steady light rain as the day went on.
A pity really 'cause it's just as the camellias are coming out and they don't like the rain when the buds open. I guess they just weren't designed for typical British Springs.

Have a good weekend all of you.

Re: .

fne, the greatest cyclist of them all came in second, but the winner is a nice guy too
so not too worried

cleaned the windows sufficiently thoroughly for the first time to be more than slightly peeved about the traces of glue, scratches and other non-removable traces left behind by the amateurs who obviously placed them

Re: .

Evening all

Pretty damp all day here but it continues mild so not too much pressure on the heating.

The local cat treats the place like a hotel. It came in as I sat down for breakfast, went straight to the radiator and didn't move until after lunch when, as I sat down it moved to my lap.
We call it Felix because it's black with white bib and paws and looks a little like the cat food advert.

We have no idea where it's home is and it doesn't get any food here so, maybe, it's owner's are just more sparing with the heating.
