Oh dear, it is snowing again here (as they said it would). I am fed up with this 'game' now and what's more I have started to run out of some items of food. I have got a taste of of what it feels like to be imprisoned!

Its quiet from Belgium, they must have some snow! yepppp it's beautiful about 10-15 cm (ok ok I know it's not a lot compared to you brit lot!) trying hard not to think about how i'm going to get to work tomorrow though :ninja:  |

forgot to mention, upcoming arabic exam (first part tomorrow) is also a reason for the quiet
not that it's a biggg excuse seen as how I didn't start studying until....today (rolls eyes at self) there was something else I wanted to say....forgot fne Merle did you see our tennis ladies? or do you only like it when played on rainy grass and with strawberries around :D |

Evening all
A slight rise in temperature here so that it began to be a tad slushy rather than hard ice on the pavements. Not enough to clear it of course, except in very busy sections so as we get below zero again it converts back to ice. I had experience of the Scandinavian build when in Germany. I was involved in the buying of land and then a Danhaus constructed on it. All factory made so once the foundation is ready, the main structure is built in a day. Triple glazed, wall units thermally filled and fitted tight and the brick walls outside are just for show. Amazing how little energy was needed for excellent heating, When I lived on the Wirral, I had a Swedish design type of house that looked very pretty and excellent in many ways but the loft covered but one third of the ground floor area so insulating the loft was of very marginal value. It's taken a long time for British build to think seriously about proper insulation. |

Merle did you see our tennis ladies? or do you only like it when played on rainy grass and with strawberries around :D No Evy, must have missed that! Mind you, I have got such a strange lot of TV programs - masses of them and 99% rubbish! So have to trawl through all the programmes to find something that 'suits' me!! Any idea what channel it was on? Probably too late now anyway?  Believe it or not, I can remember the times when everyone had just 3 channels! |

Believe it or not, I can remember the times when everyone had just 3 channels! blushing
