Morning all
---------------------------------------- A windy trip over moors to York the coach being tossed about some what on the M62 Saddle-worth and Hartishead being the Highest point on any British M Way. The National rail Museum is a fantastic place It was chocker with Blokes in Anoraks Clutching thermos flasks The hardest part was trying to get decent photos of the engines because of the crowds milling about there were huge ques to get on the footplate's of the 6 A4 Pacific's assembled in the great hall I managed two I had been in the driving cab of Sir Nigel Gresley when it was on shed at Carnforth. Mallard I gave a miss as the line never got any shorter 6 visitors in the cab at any one time and you got a short chat about the engine from a driver and or fireman |

Mixed weather today but good enough for an outside pub lunch to take Yorkshire visitors.

Arter--noon folks .....
----------------------------------------Got a nice letter from my Building society this morning. I have had Many spam phone call and texts on my mobile phone claiming I am owed PPI refund & wanting to sort it out for me at a % of course.These approaches I of course ignored. Then a proper letter from the building society saying that THEY thought I might have been misold just fill in the form and say why feel that this was the case . After a couple of exchanges of information I received a handsome cheque this morning So quite pleased as I was not aware I had taken out any insurance . So the moral of this story is read the small print and dont believe that the Banker is being totally up front with you Just sign on the dotted line Mr gullible customer  |
