Morning all Was pretty warm yesterday into the 20's

Duvets as we now know them, we used to call Continental Quilts
I wonder why & when we changed them .
I recall driving through the "Conty-Nonte" and seeing shutters flung wide and the bedding airing from upstairs windows.

At home as a child We had feather mattress's that you sank into a pit, with an eiderdown on top
Is the latest bed furniture Memory foam Mattress.? better than Posture sprung or indeed the good old horse hair?
Having tried the Memory foam I found I was cooking on it .

Benson and Hedges was my favourite but there were several 'special' fags for the weekend or parties. Then I moved on to cigars before giving up entirely well over twenty years ago. Now it's only wine that has me on its hook.
