Morning all. Sorry to upset all the girl fans, but I really am 73 years old! Herculanum..close your eyes when you see the wall paintings! There's life in the old dog yet.......and Ted as well  |

Dry and warm here but clouds are getting more prominent so showers are probably on their way.
Is anyone having a Street party? No signs of anything here apart from bunting on what was the old town hall. 25 years ago we had a great time in Bebington and some of the friendships lasted for some time afterwards. |

Sorry, it was in Pompeji I should have done that  They had a painted menu at the best little *****house there .... Could I have that one, please .... Today was Capri at its best. Wonderful weather, far better tourist trap than expected - I liked it a lot But then again, I seem to like most things nowadays. Tomorrow will be the National Museum in Napoli and a tour of the city. I hope they have cleaned up the waste ... |

The weather behaves at it's best south of Napoli Tomorrow I'll go home to a windy Denmark with rain and 13 ....  - yes, it's the correct smiley. Vikings don't like perferct weather for too long - then it kind of becomes imperfect  |
