Wow that is one fantastic Milestone. Congrats in advance!! Thank you also for passing that milestone on this team  Thanks Shirley. I crunch 24/7 and appear to be averaging 5 results per day at the moment, but still haven't broken into the 3,000 top members. One day, maybe.  |

I crunch 24/7 and appear to be averaging 5 results per day at the moment, but still haven't broken into the 3,000 top members. One day, maybe. I crunch 24/7 too but also run Seti here and it seems to slow the grid down quite a lot. I exit the Seti program to pick up speed here. I am currently crunching 1.24/day I think. I have thought of deleting the Seti program since WCG is a more worthy cause and I sincerely doubt I will find ET...LOL, but I have been running it for over 4 years now and I hate to have someone beat me there. Too high a competitive streak maybe??  I think I am about 13 in my class, though worldwide somewhere around 1 millionth place!! |

I crunch 24/7 too but also run Seti here and it seems to slow the grid down quite a lot. I exit the Seti program to pick up speed here. I am currently crunching 1.24/day I think. Like you, I used to run SETI. I ran it for about 2 years, until I discovered Grid crunching. SETI is OK but is also very CPU greedy, leaving almost nothing for anything else. Now I have just over 100K points and am about 33 days away from my 1st 'birthday' here. Can we tempt anyone else into joining us?   |

Thats ok Young Cyber, but I know a challange when I see one!!
Hey all you in the States, on the cybernauts or looking for a team, how about we show the English what we're made of?? (friendly competitors only need apply! <eg> (btw....Happy St George Day)The team needs more active members, you don't have a team, so let's get together and show what the English can do. Young Cyber: Could you tell us something about St. George's Day? It might be interesting to post here or perhaps in a new thread some special holidays or habits from other countries....what do you all think? Would this be a Taboo from the admins?? ummm....ok I won't go any further with that thought...LOL |
