When I first installed BOINC, I choose to run w/o graphics, now I want to see them?
Any way to make the change without reinstalling? Thanks! |

Hello Mark Nicholson,
Could you give us some more information? Is this Ubuntu or some other OS? Do you want to use the 'Show Graphics' command in the 'Tasks' bar or do you want to watch the screen saver? Lawrence |

Just simple XP Pro SP3.
In the Tasks tab in BOINC, there is a show graphics button that is greyed out...how do you turn it on without reinstalling the client? Thanks! |

Did you try selecting a running task?
What version of BOINC do you have? Our recommended version is 6.2.28. |

Hello Mark Nicholson,
The 'Show Graphics' command is grayed out until you select a particular task - - even if there is only one task running - you still have to click on that task. Lawrence |

I have the same problem. I select a task, but the button is still greyed out. No preference/option to turn it back on...?

I dont know what you want.
If you install the latest adviced version...just start a 'task', select it, then the graphics button will become normal. Shall I make a small video? oO |
