Can "Detach From Project" command be implemented in My Grid?Today had a hard drive kick the bucket and there are five days worth of WUs from a Q6600 that will never get finished by this machine. If there was such an option these could be assigned to another machine immediately. As it stands these won't get reassigned until they are No Reply status.

Re: Detach from project?

Hello RAMMIE,
As far as I know, we will just have to let them time out. With 307,900 results returned yesterday, it is not a great hardship for the grid to wait a little. I am sorry your hard drive crashed. I always feel so frustrated when that happens to me.

Re: Detach from project?

Doesn't really mean anything to me either in the grand scheme, but would be nice if all the commands in Boinc Mgr would be duplicated in My Grid.

This is an interesting idea. But if the techs ever find it worth implementing that should be at device level, i.e. in the Device Configuration page.

Together with hardware failures there are also those weird circumstances where a new device is created after some software upgrade.

Cheers. Jean.
