Large-scale errors: file not found

Currently, the scheduler is giving out R00302 WUs and returning "file not found" when attempting to send them. (This has already been mentioned by joneill003, but at the bottom of an unrelated thread.)

<core_client_version>5.10.45</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<message>
WU download error: couldn't get input files:
<file_xfer_error>
<file_name>batch00302_R00302_80c37c1c3b1b23c50f8aa6f3696505b0.sequence</file_name>
<error_code>-224</error_code>
<error_message>file not found</error_message>
</file_xfer_error>

</message>
]]>

That one WU has 10 "other" and 22 "error" statuses so far. There are many other WUs in the same situation. As soon as a machine asks for more NRW work, it cycles through another set of them.

Re: Large-scale errors: file not found

Something is looking to be very wonky. File download size , upload errors and http issues. Error -224:
ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND -224

This is the same as an HTTP error 404: File not found.

There's an alert out in the back-room, but folks are asleep in the States now.

Re: Large-scale errors: file not found

I had one machine go through 14 like that before it got some good ones. At the time I posted, it was still getting bad ones, but it's happily crunching again now.

Re: Large-scale errors: file not found

I also posted a report about this issue yesterday in this thread:
http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=24228
Not sure what happened but it was able to pick up new workunits eventually and is happily crunching since. This machine is dedicated to NRW for some time and hasn't had any problems before or since.
