Hello herowyk and Welcome in WCG's forum!
----------------------------------------I am sorry I am not able to answer you in Chinese and I cannot read it either. With help of online translators like Google translator and Yahoo's Babel Fish I think I have got your questions. Please do not hesitate to tell me if I have misunderstood. Here it is: Questions on the crediting algorithm. If a task takes 6 hours to run at 100 % does it get more credit than if it runs 10 hours at 60 %? Over 24 hours is the faster processor getting more points? When the crediting system works as designed a given task should receive the same number of points whether it is computed at full speed in a short time or more slowly at a reduced speed. Over 24 hours the faster processor will be normally getting more points because it will have processed more tasks. But if you consider a fix set of N tasks the total points received for this batch of work will be the same whatever the speed. Thank you for helping Research. Jean. |
