The problem described in the SSL Connect thread has happened to me, but soon clears after a couple of re-trys. However there is a much worse problem trying to display secure pages such as your own results etc. The success rate of try for some pages is sometimes less than 10%.
----------------------------------------It is very difficult to check the status of WUs etc as the pages keep failing.... [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 28, 2009 6:30:43 AM] |

Same problem here, with the added problem of not being able to report results nor download new workunits.
I've been having this problem throughout all day. |

I cannot get into the results status page either. Which prevents me from checking the status of a remote computer. I have a friends computer working on world community grid, he is fine with it but he isn't very computer savvy so if there is a problem I am not sure what I can have him do anyway. But I would like to be able to see the results status page.

Try clearing the browser cookies/cache and restarting the client / client service. Resetting is really the very last resort.

Well, I did what they said to do in the "Known Issues" thread. The Reset Project didn't work. Now I'm just without any work units. Maybe I shouldn't have done that. lol. First time my computer has sat idle in about 8 months.

I've been having trouble signing on after the website didn't 'remember me'. I've been trying to sign on for the last 2 hours. Without changing anything, it finally let me in.
Now I can access the My Grid page but I can't get to my Results Status page yet. |

Do not reset. I don't know what prompted that advice, but it's not helpful.
Resetting is a last resort, and not something I advise. Wait until the website problems are fixed before taking any extreme measures. |
