We are working on this now. The load balancers were set up to perform the SSL encryption/decryption but they seem to be struggling with the load so we are changing things to lighten the load. It may have been a bad decision to use the load balancers for this as our web servers have significant untapped cpu power available while the load balancers are struggling so we may just move the ssl encryption/decryption back to the webservers.


Is this why the website is coming up with a lot of 'Page not found' errors?

My pages are coming up fine, so it is probably something intermittent that just a few people are getting.

Yep it only happens sometimes to me. I have noticed though that my machine is having problems collecting new WU's just now, possibly related to the SSL problem?

No worries though as I have a buffer of around 5hrs still to crunch, so it should all be sorted by the time I start to run dry.

Well , is happening also to me , for quite a while,
'Page not found' errors ..

But again , let´s hope is like Lawrence posted , probably something intermittent

It hit me too at 23:48. But after backing off, everything completed. I expect the staff will report what the problem is tomorrow.

I've been away from my machine since last week, and it's been jammed since 2009/01/23 23:42. It started to download a work unit, and errored. It never got any more, so eventually ran out of work. I've tried restarting the machine, aborting the workunit that won't download, nothing has worked so far - it just keeps getting connection failures and backing off for a few hours.
