Greetings again,
DDDT takes a few minutes to start showing progress, as well as FA@H. This is because it does a bit of calculations to set up the environment for the science to take effect. DDDT and FAAH both use Autodock and respond in the same manner. DDDT has a little bit different set up at the beginning to make sure the work units properly calculate. -Uplinger |

Most projects spend some time at 0 % while they are initializing everything they need to do their work. The CEP project is the "worst" one: its 0 % time lasts about 1.2 % of the total time. When you know that some CEP WUs have run up to 100 hours or more that gives an initialization time of more than 1 hour! Fortunately for all other projects it is much less, although it is still "visible".
----------------------------------------Regarding the progress you will notice that the percentage increments by 0.001 % (as you said) between 14 to 20+ times, then it jumps by about 0.2 % and so on. By the way this jump is an indication of the checkpointing that we discussed in the other thread. Cheers. Jean. |
