I remember before the project stopped temporarily, WUs for the CEP were the largest out of all the WCG projects (somewhere over 24 hours each), but since work restarted, I see I can only get 2 WUs for my one PC and they are each 80 hours in size! Yikes... 80 hours? Is this an error?
Of course, it's nothing like the size of a climate prediction.net WU, but for WCG, the size seems unusual... |

Let them run a while before deciding how long they will take.
Remember, even at the best of times, CEP tasks vary in size a lot. |

Apple TV, once a CEP task has started to increment percentage you can use this Start Here FAQ to check if its estimated duration was exaggerated or not.

I have received a repair one on my P4HT running two tasks simultaneously. After applying my little formulas it appeared that it would take 66 hours and it would miss its short deadline. I have decided to suspend the other task so the estimated duration is now down to 49 hours and that should be OK...

Yikes... 80 hours? Is this an error? stop crying, now back to work slave! seriously, my personal record was 31,5 h CPU time for one WU on a Q6600. I like it. you get lots of CPU time once it is done, exactly the opposite of HCC and DDDT where usually a WU is finished within 4 hours here. ![]() |
