Why does the device information section of the Main window show my processor Inlet PIII 600 Mhz? It is a Pentium M 1.7 Ghz. Thanks.

Just guessing here since I've never seen the UD client code, but it's probably detecting it as a Pentium III probably because the Pentium M is derived from a Pentium III. It should get the MHz correct though. I am currently running on a Pentium M 1.6GHz and it's identifying it as a Pentium III 1.6GHz. It's possible though, that the detection code ran when your laptop had stepped down the clock speed of the chip for power conservation. I believe I've seen this happen on my laptop before.

I have Centrino and it's doing the same for me Centrino is the chipset on the motherboard not the CPU. Chances are, if you have a Centrino chipset, you are running a Pentium M.

Thanks Rick. It refreshed after it sent results back to the server. It is now reporting the PIII but has the correct Mhz.
