hey, Are we any closer to having the WCG points normalized to better match the BONIC points. This was briefly discussed a couple mouths back and I thought it was something that was about to happen then. Just curious.

Rest assured it is on their priority list. It is obvious that this got deferred until after the move. Won't speculate when this will happen though, but it should be sometimes this year. (Oops - I speculated!  )JB |

hey, Are we any closer to having the WCG points normalized to better match the BONIC points. Normalized in what way? They are already divided by 7 when exported for the BOINC stat sites.  |

Currently, only the Boinc points are sent to the Boinc stats sites, or more precisely the Boinc credits. The UD points are not.
----------------------------------------But it is planned to convert WCG's stats from points to credits by dividing them by 7, and then it will be this new "credits" total which will be sent to the Boinc stats sites. Probably in the coming weeks or months. WCG staff will tell when they are sure of the date. Cheers. Jean. |
