Message from server (reached daily quota of 8 Results)

I keep getting this message today!! I didn't know we had a daily quota? Also it will not give me any new work. Is anyone else having this issue?

I have never run into that and I've reported up to 10 results in 1 day before off of 1 computer.

Tomorrow another day. "(reached daily quota of 8 Results)" means 8 bad results returned probably. Don't know why that indicator is not included in the message if it was that. Check the Result Status page to verify.

Hello HorseRadish,
The server can decrease the daily limit down to 2 a day. It increases the limit if you return a valid result. The idea is to automatically throttle 'cyclers' that cycle through large numbers of work units, returning quick errors. A few days of good crunching will put your system back to work full-speed.

If you are bothered by a cold CPU while this is happening, check out the BOINC projects at http://distributedcomputing.info/projects.html Adding one of them will keep your computer humming while the WCG server slowly lets you get more work.
