So what is everyone's personal best for the amount of work units completed in a day? I just thought it would be interesting to see how some systems crunch against others. Feel free to brag as well. Just state how many PC's you got crunching. I'm really interested in how those single PC crunchers out there do.

Hi JoshuaBuyer I've done 6 in one day (27hours between uploads), I only have the one machine. My Worst is 1 WU in 7 days 14hrs but fortunately haven't had one of those in a while.. How about you? Mine is 6 in a day. But I believe that there HAD to be some spillover which occurred during the uploading/graphing process.
Still the chart says 6. ![]() |

My personal best was 11 work units in a day. My computer is a 3.4 Prescott oc'd to 3.9. Thing is running so hot even with water cooling I have to have a fan blowing on this inside the whole time. Need to put in my new water cooling setup soon.

... not sure wether I should switch that to WCG too.... Good idea. Why, not? Here is a rather funny piece of irony for you. A few very sane/sober friends who claim to have had "close encounters" all share certain characteristics. 1. They do NOT wish to discuss it. (At least when they are sober). Who would believe you? Even worse, suppose they actually did? 2. Their experiences contain similar vivid detail that no one would think to make up on their own. Not weird, rather they are just peculiar as in "Why would that have happened?" kind of thing. 3. They all "shared the experience" with someone else who was with them at the time and saw the same things they did. 4. All the witnesses could not believe what they saw and were terrified while they were seeing them. They all spent the next week asking each other if the other person(s) really saw . . . . To this day, they know they saw them, but something in them refuses to entirely accept it. There were no reports of positive or negative interations. They were entirely passive observers. 5. They are not members of SETI, and are quite content not to be contacted again in any future. After giving the matter some thought, I decided if they really wanted to be contacted they would have already called by now. ![]() |
