Shutting down WCG and going back to my regular crunching... will leave it parked here till everything gets out of PV jail...

hmmm...I did not understand 1/2 of what you said cswchan...lol Thanks so much for camping out here for awhile. We will see you around!! You guys are all tres cool! Cybernauts is still here, and still recruiting. Come and join this quiet, but very nice team!! Shirley...there are projects other than World Community Grid! Most of BaseCamp relate to our own comfort zone or favorite place to park our machines....for example ....mine is Docking, some prefer Einstein, others Poem...the list goes on ....many will stay @ WCG; but at their favorite/Home team!!!! WE are truly a band of Gypsies! Chas was relating to points he submitted that haven't been validated yet ( PV Jail) for example! Most of us have ....hhhmmmmm 15 to 60 completed WU's that are in limbo and not credited until someone else finished the same WU and validates our results We generally (but not always) find a WCG team to help out ... after all WCG is where most of us got addicted!!!!!! I actually started finding little green men many many years ago... it was the only game in town... got a little peeved with them after they changed to Boinc and basically gave me peanuts for all the years I crunched there.. spent 77, 292 hours and got 1,019 pts out of it... swore never again.

I actually started finding little green men many many years ago... it was the only game in town... got a little peeved with them after they changed to Boinc and basically gave me peanuts for all the years I crunched there.. spent 77, 292 hours and got 1,019 pts out of it... swore never again. hmmm I think I understood some of that. I started computer sharing at seti, but also did another one for health sciences, though I can't remember the name of it now. Funny, I have used this nick through all of that. Thanks for spending time with us!! |
