I am always running BOINC “Activity” is set to both “Run always” and “Network activity always available”. But it had been set to “Run based on preference” incidentally for almost 2 weeks, may be by my wrong setting. The button on the task bar on right bottom of screen ( under Windows XP/Vista) indicates BOINC icon with green color. I have not noticed for two weeks, because of as far as seeing icon, it seems no problem. Can you change the this icon to indicate by, for instance, having or override yellow “x” letter to show BOINC is not processing task application by revising BOINC version. Currently BOINC icon on the task bar indicates the same color or icon designation regardless the task application progress is taken place or suspending.
