Don't fret about it too much. There was a time when I was #6 in the team standings and David Autumns was #1 (back in December). Then shortly after that Rejean Houle (MLCBA) came along and others and then still others. I am now down to #20 and David is #21 in the team statistics now, but we are both running our systems 24/7 with the rest of the team, so we are happy that our team has been able to draw members that are able to contribute so much to the World Community Grid. The real contest isn't team statistics or position within the WCG itself. It is getting this work done so that scientists can use the results to better the life of mankind. Thank you for noticing my hard work..  I crunch up to my limit, as I promised you, but I can slow down if you want me to?  Besides that we both will be kicked out of the top 10 of the MOT by the recent arrived top 100 crunchers like Marcelle, Ploetner, jasnyder and MikeOD.... I do not mind, as long as these guys offer there CPU cycles to the WCG it is OK by me. The CPU cycles of the "little people" like us count just as hard and contibute as well to this mission. |
