WCG powers distribution graphs

Hi!

It would be great to see additional graph on Statistics page, that will show how WCG computational resources was divided between projects yesterday.

Re: WCG powers distribution graphs

A table similar as on the My Grid page with cumulative and day results, time, points.

This chart is not updated every day. There are more at the graphs link below periodically refreshed to show how the cake is split.

Re: WCG powers distribution graphs

Hi!

Yes, Sekerob, I know about these graphs and they are very interesting and helpful. Thanks a lot for maintaining them. But the idea is to receive constantly up-to-date info. For me it's always very interesting to see on what WCG was working yesterday. But clicking on every projects is really annoying.

Re: WCG powers distribution graphs

There's only so many hands to do things, so your suggestion is noted.

What I did to remove boring repetition, which is annoying, is set up all the links to project pages in a spreadsheet, which auto refreshes. Then, set up a summary page showing the projects data of yesterday and cumulative in a table, which a script pushes off into a database so it can be charted in no time.

cheers

Re: WCG powers distribution graphs

I find the graphs of great interest. Glad to know that you have some automation to lessen the work needed to update them.

Re: WCG powers distribution graphs

There's even a script to pull all changed charts, on photobucket and load up the new charts, the deleting still manual. Have to delete as PB assumes any upload as a new picture, not a replacement. That's why they show phenomenal 6.5 billion images, they count uploads... and it's me doing it laughing

Last month used 7gb upload of 25 gb allowed by them before it becomes paytime. This month their stats say 6.1gb to date... more refreshes.

Re: WCG powers distribution graphs

Hi Sekerob!

Can I use some of your graphs in the seti.germany wiki ? Your graphs are interesting and clearly representing the different factors like wu duration, credit per hour etc.

Thanks
