sorry to dissapoint you but i did that first thing after i downloaded the program.
I put in the ip adress and the port as well as my username and my password.
Could it be a problem that i am not only using a proxy but one where a password and username are needed?
Had the same problem with skype under mac.

Thanks and i will read through that thread carefully.
But at the moment the strangest thing is happening. The whole thing is workin when i disable the proxy settings. Please don't ask me how or why but as long as it works I won't complain.
