All crunchers who received this Beta WU have returned the result too late.

Beta units always get special treatment. They have short deadlines in order to give them high-speed priority on computers so that the results will be quickly returned. Lawrence l |

Lawrence l I know that. I am not worried about the short deadlines. I just noticed that the same WU keeps getting sent out even though 4 completed results have been returned. I was just notifying you guys so you can halt the resend again, and look at the results of those all ready turned in. If you can do that, that is. |

The real limit is whatever knreed chooses for that run. Sometimes he changes things in mid-run, but normally he lets them run out while deciding what to do next. Lawrence |

Any chance of points/time being credited for following?

It ran instantaneously it was received and then ran continuously until it was returned. I suspect points for other people have already been manually adjusted. Guessing manually, as there are minor descrepencies between valid/invalid points, and suspect this was done during the period the daily points are calculated. knreed will get around to it eventually. There are a lot of other things to do. Quickly changing Beta unit statuses is good public relations, but hopefully people who choose to be Beta testers will be patient. Lawrence |
