I think his name should be omega, since he's Last in production
----------------------------------------![]() (just kidding we are but responsible for our own works) Now on the the real story, www.natcore.com is the home site of a company making news these days. They tried to get financing to work in the US, but were politely ignored. China heard about them, flew them to China and made a deal in a day. The new thin film solar will be 30 percent efficient, better than most regular solar panels. Also the cost per watt could be in the 60 to 70 cent range. Incidentally facilities producing regular panels can still use this process to put the finishing touches on their panels to make them cheaper then they are currently doing. I was so impressed I invested in it. It's up 30% in a week. (yes that's just a lift off the buzz created, but here's hoping) BIG P.S. THIS DOESN'T MEAN WE SHOULDN'T BE DOING MORE RESEARCH! THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT. They are still using silicone, who knows maybe we will hit 40 or 50%? ![]() |

World Community Grid's Clean Energy Project listed as one of four catalyst that could revolutionize 2014
Writing in Trends in Ecology & Evolution, a group of scientists just released their fifth annual "horizon scan" of pressures that they expect to be relevant in the coming year, but haven't yet reached the attention of the mainstream. http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/markets/2...ur-2014-catlysts/4302675/ ![]() |

Yes, the research in Solar Energy has come a long way, but not only price has been an obstacle in the production so far.
But the windmills have been helping "The Clean Energy Project" up to now. Both Denmark and Gran Canaria receive huge amount of energy from windmills. |
